Under the theme "The 4th Dimension: AI with a Soul," Fintech Americas 2026 tackled one of the industry's most critical questions: How can we leverage AI's transformative power while maintaining the human touch that builds trust and serves diverse communities? The answer emerged through three days of dynamic programming featuring 200+ international speakers from leading financial institutions, innovative fintechs, regulatory bodies, and technology providers across the Americas. These industry experts delivered actionable insights through keynote presentations, panel discussions, and specialized tracks covering digital banking transformation, regulatory innovation, embedded finance, payments modernization, and responsible AI implementation.
The event delivered a 32% increase in sponsors with almost 100 sponsors represented, including VISA, Veritran, Itti, Accenture, N5, Deloitte, Citrix, and Euronet to name a few, demonstrating unprecedented industry support and engagement with the event's mission to advance inclusive, human-centered financial innovation across Latin America and beyond.
“As part of Money20/20, Fintech Americas plays a vital role in connecting regional innovation with global trends, "With record participation and an unparalleled level of engagement, this year's conference marked a defining moment for our ecosystem," said Maria Mancuso, President of Fintech Americas. Temsamani, Americas Head of Digital for Treasury & Trade Solutions at Citi, and Alvaro Ernesto Carmona Ruiz, Chief Technology Officer at Bancolombia, provided actionable insights on digital banking expansion and the evolution of financial services across Latin America.
"Twelve years ago, we started Fintech Americas with a simple conviction: to build a world-class stage for Latin America and its financial innovators. What we witnessed this week at the Fontainebleau, with over 1,750 leaders from across the Americas building real partnerships and having real conversations about AI, inclusion, and the future of money, proves that the region has not just arrived—it is leading. Being part of the Money20/20 family only amplifies what's possible from here," said Ray Ruga, CEO, Fintech Americas.
The 2026 Fintech Americas Financial Innovators Awards celebrated a dynamic mix of banks, fintechs, and financial service providers leading innovation across Latin America, with a particularly strong showing from forward-thinking banking institutions.
